TRENTON, NJ – U.S. Airways and United Airlines are once again taking the wraps off their redesigns, with the revamped seat and home consoles.
In an effort to deliver an immersive flying experience, the modern U.S. Airways seat and home console now deliver multiple touch points for customers to engage and engage again. This includes a new window shade with LED lighting and new handrails.
Customers will also see a new cabin pillar inspired by the shape of a sexy movie star. It was engineered to withstand the harsh outdoors and to keep passengers comfortably warm while flying – and still look good.
United’s redesigned home console has been re-engineered to refresh expectations of what customers expect from a modern home entertainment experience. The console now incorporates seating, a slick travel-themed control unit and upgraded home theater technology.
The cabin pillar covers all sides and has been reengineered to withstand the harsh outdoors and to keep passengers comfortably warm while flying – and still look good.
The cabin cornerstone was designed to represent not only the airline’s iconic blue and white brand, but also a style reflective of premium cabins that passengers are used to flying.
