Emmy award-winning presenter Lorraine Kelly and Brookside creator Phil Redmond are set to receive a UK honor and lifetime achievement prize from the Queen.

The duo are among more than 100 prominent figures from the worlds of education, the arts, media and sports to be honored at Buckingham Palace on June 13. The Order of the British Empire (OBE) will recognize their contribution in the areas of education, sport, the arts, broadcasting, social enterprise and the military.

Established in 1917, the OBE was established as a way of recognizing those who have given their time to the public realm, but the award is also now open to those who have made a significant contribution to society in areas such as science, the arts, sport and welfare.

Previous recipients include actors Dame Helen Mirren and Sylvester McCoy, as well as Princess Diana and World War II Prime Minister Winston Churchill.

Lorraine Kelly says goodbye to ITV Morning Show after 14 years

Kelly, known for her turn on talk show GMTV, is best known for her role on “This Morning,” a daily live show hosted by Amanda Holden. Kelly will also step down from hosting ITV show “This Morning” this year after more than 14 years, a role she has said is “one of the most humbling things” she has ever done.

Former boxing champion Tony Bellew also told friends he was upset by the Queen’s decision to award him an OBE. The 36-year-old, currently awaiting a fight against David Haye, said he believes the honor is unfair to other successful athletes who fail to secure Olympic qualification.

However, the former world champion said he would “love to have one,” and discussed how two weeks after the 2014 Championship, which he lost, his post-fight celebrations were marred by reports linking him to Katie Piper, whom he had previously dated, and who also suffered from scarring injuries in a car accident.

He also suggested he was ill treated by the police, who took his identity for “London to China gold medal hunt” in an interview with The Sun.
