PSG Subs Beat Celtic 3-0 To Advance In The Champions League

Paris Saint-Germain headed into the group stage of the Champions League on a high note with a three-goal rout of Celtic at the Parc des Princes.

The French club was in top form all game, with the goals coming from Kylian Mbappe, Julian Draxler and Angel Di Maria.

Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a brilliant solo effort that saw him evade several Celtic defenders and curl a shot past Craig Gordon.

Draxler added the second in the 20th minute when he curled home a free kick, Di Maria added the third from close range in the 29th minute after the visitors failed to clear a cross.

Celtic had its chances throughout the game and Raffael almost reduced the arrears in the 56th minute when he headed a cross from Draxler off the line.

The Champions League Group C match ended 3-0, with PSG moving above group runners-up Valencia and opening up a three-point gap to second-place Red Star Belgrade in the last group game, which will be played in Monaco on September 16.
